Our delightful Di has been a home-based educator for 27 years, based in Green Island. She has been married to Darryn for 33 years, and have two grown children.
In Di’s local community she has a fenced in park, which I take the children to regularly to me up with other Educators and their home-based care children, Mega Mitre 10 indoor playground, and a local garden area for adventures for the children.
At home I have different areas set up for diverse types of play, to cater for all learning strategies e.g., dramatic family play, blocks (all types), cars, trains and accessories and holistic play equipment, to name a few. Outside play is on a large, enclosed deck area – providing bikes, balls, water play, climbing frames, playhouse, basketball hoop etc.
